Calculation method of production capacity of 3D CNC drilling machine

Three-dimensional numerical control drilling machine is an efficient numerical control equipment for three-sided drilling of workpieces such as H-shaped steel, channel steel, and box beams in the steel structure industry. It is the key to the quality assurance of large-scale production of steel structures. The purpose of using 3D CNC drilling machines in the steel structure industry is to improve processing efficiency. Only after calculating whether a 3D CNC drilling machine can bring the expected production capacity to the enterprise can it be considered whether it is worth buying.

Taking limited working hours: two shifts per day, 8 hours per shift, 300 working days per year and 1250 3D CNC drilling machine as an example to calculate the annual output of the equipment.

Processing size:

1. Workpiece size (in mm):

800 (section height) x400 (section width) x25 (plate thickness) x10000 (length)

2. Workpiece weight: about 3 tons

3D CNC drilling machine as an example:

1. Carriage feeding speed of 3D CNC drilling machine: 6-8 m/min

2. Drilling parameters of the three-dimensional CNC drilling machine: choose a ¢20 drill bit, adjust the spindle speed to 400r/min (calculated according to the cutting speed of 25m/min), and adjust the feed rate to 0.15mm/r.

3. The number of drilling holes of the three-dimensional CNC drilling machine: set the number of hole groups on each face of the workpiece to 10, a total of 30 holes on the three faces, and a total of 60 holes in the two hole groups at the head and tail.

4. The drilling time of the 3D CNC drilling machine: the drilling time for each hole is about 30 seconds, and the time for 10 holes is 5 minutes.

The reciprocating return time of the spindle is 10 seconds/hole, and the positioning time is 1 second/hole, totaling 220 seconds. The SWZ1250 3D CNC drilling machine drills holes at the same time on three surfaces.

Therefore, the total processing time of a hole group is about 9 minutes, and the processing time of the whole root material is about 18 minutes, plus the feeding time is about 2 minutes, so the processing time of the whole root material is about 20 minutes.

5. The number of pieces processed by a single SWZ1250 three-dimensional drilling machine per shift: 24 pieces

6. Annual output: 300 days x 2 shifts x 24 pieces x 3 tons = 43200 tons

Note: Actual throughput varies with workpiece weight, number of holes to be machined per workpiece, and operating level.
